Notifications

In your personal area (top right if you are logged in), you can  specify under Notifications for which actions in your social intranet you would like to receive notification e-mails and push notifications.

Don't forget to save your settings.

*Please note that not all notifications can be turned on or off.

*The option of not being able to disable the new announcements and posts is currently set by the system so that the platform can fulfill its purpose as a news platform.
Manual deactivations are not possible.

 

Email notifications about unread messages

There are three conditions under which we will send email notifications of unread messages:

  • Chat notifications must be enabled in email notifications.
  • We'll send an email about an unread message if the message is in a private chat (not a group chat)
  • If the user has not been online for 15 minutes.

*If a user was online but did not enter the chat room, they will not receive the email.

 

 


 

The structure of the post in emails

The content of the post has a complex structure and we control how it is displayed on the dashboard, but we cannot guarantee that it will be displayed the same way in emails as different email clients display this structure differently.

 

 


 

Video in the email 

It is not possible to send emails with videos because email clients do not accept videos.

We highly recommend including links to your videos in emails so recipients can click the link and view the video content on any resource (e.g. YouTube).

Users can also view the videos on your intranet using the newsletter function.

 

 


 

I get multiple notifications on the same computer. How can I solve the problem?

You receive multiple notifications in different browsers on the same computer because you opted in to those notifications yourself.

We allow users to opt-in multiple times for notifications if they use different browsers/operating systems as we cannot tell it's the same device.

To receive fewer notifications, you can unsubscribe in your browser settings. We're also preparing an update that will allow you to fine-tune the notifications you receive in browsers and on Android devices.

Unfortunately, we cannot control how your browser displays your notifications, so they appear one at a time.

You can also try to completely clear the notification settings for the website so that you can opt in to notifications again the next time you visit the website.
