Wenn dann noch die Entfernung zum Zugangspunkt groß ist, leidet die Qualität zusätzlich.</li><li>Der Einsatz des Browsers führt nur noch selten zu Problemen. Ist ein <strong>ungeeigneter Browser</strong> bei sehr kleinen Gruppen oft noch unproblematisch, wirkt er sich aber bei mehreren Personen deutlich aus. <strong>Chromium ist der Browser der Wahl</strong>. Seit Version 78 (Juli 2020) funktioniert auch <strong>Firefox</strong> wieder sehr gut.</li><li>Mit jedem weiteren Teilnehmer steigt die zu <strong>übertragende und zu verarbeitende Datenmenge</strong>. Mag der Server an der Schule mit diesen Datenmengen noch zurecht kommen und auch schnell genug ans Internet angebunden sein, ist dies bei den Teilnehmern nicht unbedingt der Fall. Vor allem wenn bei vielen Teilnehmern viele Kameras aktiviert sind, kann die Internetanbindung eines Teilnehmers oder die Rechenleistung seines Computers zum Problem werden und die Verbindungsqualität negativ beeinflussen. Treten Verbindungsprobleme auf, sollte zunächst <strong>überprüft werden, ob für alle Teilnehmer die Kamera und/oder das Mikrofon aktiviert sein muss</strong> oder ob diese nur im Bedarfsfall aktiviert werden können.</li><li>Das <strong>Stummschalten der Mikrofone</strong> kann bei größeren Gruppen in jedem Fall gewinnbringend sein, nicht nur weil manche Geräte jedes Atmen übertragen und Störgeräusche produzieren, auch sind immer wieder auftretende Rückkopplungen leichter zu beherrschen.</li><li>Im Browser kann man unter „weitere Einstellungen“ unter „Qualitätseinstellungen“ die <strong>Verbindungsqualität reduziert</strong> werden, um dadurch die Datenmenge zu reduzieren.</li><li>Eventuell kann es bei <strong>langsamen Internetanbindungen</strong> auch hilfreich sein andere Zugriffe auf das Internet zu reduzieren, um die verfügbare Bandbreite möglichst uneingeschränkt nutzen zu können.</li></ul>
